Meet Your Teacher & CLS Technology Coordinator
Welcome~ I am excited to start my 2nd year at Christ Lutheran School as the kindergarten teacher. While this may be my 2nd year at CLS, this will be my 36th year teaching. I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree in 1988 and from Western Illinois University with a Master’s Degree in Education in 2003.
I live in Farmington with my husband Rick. We have three children, Spencer, Hunter, and Erica. Our oldest son, Spencer, is currently serving in the United States Navy, our middle son, Hunter, is an Assistant Manager for Meijer in the Chicago suburbs, and our youngest daughter, Erica, attends in the University of Iowa pursuing her Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree.
We have two labs at home, Mazie and Remington, who keep us company since our children are no longer at home full time. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, attending St. Louis Cardinal games and attending workshops to learn about the best practices in education.
I love teaching at Christ Lutheran School. It is an honor to be part of the Christ Lutheran Staff and to meet all of the students and their families.
