Meet Your TeacherMrs. Bucher
My name is Kay Bucher and I have taught 2nd grade here at Christ Lutheran for the past eight years. I am a graduate of Illinois State University with a BS in Elementary Education with post-graduate work in Special Education and Reading Recovery. I have taught in a variety of school districts for over 20 years.My husband and I live on a farm ,near Washington, IL and have 3 children. My son holds a degree in Ag from ISU, my oldest daughter attends West Texas A&M, and my youngest daughter is in high school at WCHS. My interests include travel, reading, animals, shopping, hiking and biking. I thoroughly enjoy each group of new students and getting to know their families. I can’t wait to learn and explore many subjects and activities this coming school year with a new class.
